CELEBRATING THINKER'S DAY: 22nd February 2010 was celebrated as Thinker's Day in the occassion of Baden-Powell's birth day by the scouts members in the vidyalaya. Principal Mrs. O.S. Minz along with all the Scout masters and scouts witnessed the occasion by oragansing a "Sarva Dharma Prathana" in the vidyalaya premises.

FAREWELL 2010: Farewell to outgoing students of Class XII(Science and Commerce) of this Vidyalaya has been held on 15th February 2010 in the school premises on which variour awards were distributed to outgoing students. The current batch of XI (Science and Commarce) have arranged it with good cultural activites and a lunch for all at the end.The Principal and all the teachers of the vidyalaya have wishes the outgoing students for their forth coming Borad Examination and for future life.

EDUCATIONAL EXCURSION TOUR TO "POBITORA WILD LIFE SANTURY"
The vidyalaya has organised one educational tour to "Pobitora Wildlife Santury,Assam" on 17th January 2010.The students of class XI Commerce and XI Science has escorted by Principal and tecahers.Safari into the santury was undertaken where students and teachers witnessed one horne Rhinocerous , elephants ,differnet types of birds and varieties of floras and fauna. The trip was intresting and educative.

PARENT TEACHERS' MEETING
As a regular feature of the vidyalaya the 2nd phase of parent teachers meeting was held in the vidyalaya premises on 21st December 2009. Parent of Board classes have been specially discussed with the problems of the students and their solutions.Principal Mrs. O.S. Minz have welcome them all. Parents ware motivated to motivate their ward to be consistent in their studies for forth coming board examinations. At last some of the suggestion from the parent site have been noted and Principal have given assurance to take care of. The report cards of the students have been distributed to their parents.

ANNUAL SPORTS DAY & OPENING OF SILVER JUBILIEE CELEBRATION
Annual Sports Day was celebrated on 18th December 2009. Mr. G. Bhanumurthy, Chairman, VMC, Executive Director, IOCL, Guwahati Refinery was the chief guest of the inagural session and lighted the Olympic torch. Mr. A.C Shekhar, Chairman Nominee, VMC, SHRM-I with Smt Anjali Shekhar ,Mr. P. Basumatari,Dy. Manager,IOCL, Guwahati Refinery,Shri C. Rajendran, DGM BSNL Assam circle, VMC Member with Smt Rajendran and Shri T. Mahanta, VMC Member, Sr Cultural Officer,Director of culture,Govt. of Assam were other distinguished guest to encourage the students. A beautiful inagural song ,dance of small children and followed by Tae-kwan-do display and scout display was the real charm of the occassion.The various evets were then organised including the volleyball match between members of Alumni and Teachers. In the closing session Mrs. Ratna G. Bhanumurthy has graced the occasion as guest.The prizes were given by the guest and the distinguished members of Alumni.

CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION
Children's Day was celebrated in the vidyalaya premises on 16th Nov'2009 in abefitting manner. The function started at 7.30 am with the lightning of the lamp and garlanding the photographs of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Srhi R. N. Dubey(PGT-Hindi) gave speech enlighting thestudents about the value and importance of Childrens' Day. A facny dress of classes I to XII was organised. It was followed witha quiz competition of the primary students. After the programme sweet packets were distributed among the students.

VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK
On 7th November 2009, Principal and all the staff members of the vidyalaya took the pledge to eradicate the corruption under Vigilance Awareness Week.

FLAG DAY CELEBRATION-2009
7th November 2009 is the Flag Day of Scouts and Guides.It has been celebrated in the vidyalaya scout and guides unit,where Principal,Mrs O.S. Minz hoisted the flag and addressed to the scouts & guides.Various activities like painting competitions ,games were organised and sweets were disributed.

ANNUAL INSPECTION
On 28th October 2009 the school was inspected by Mr. R.T. Borkar,Hon. Education officer of KVS,R.O.,Guwahati with his four other team members. They have inspected every activity of the vidyalaya starting from the morning assembly till individual class room inspection.The morning assembly and other activities were highly aprecited by the team.

MAKE THE ENVIRONMENT GREEN
On 26th October 2009 the teachers and students have organised a program on plantation.They have took the promise to make the environment green. Under the leadership of Mrs. Seema Choudhury,TGT(Science) the whole program was conducted.

MAGGI QUIZ COMPETITION
On 24th October 2009 Maggi Quiz compwtition was organised for classes IV to VI. It was conducted by Quiz Master Sumit DUtta. To encourage the students they gave various prizes to the winners and to the participating audiance.

FIRE AWARENESS WEEK
Fire and safety department of Guwahati refinery demonstrated the proper use of fire extinguisher on 16th October 2009. In the session they informed 'The safety on fire ' and 'How to control fire' and also asked the students to use fire extinguisher.

"SPEED - UP" THE MILLENNIUM DEVELOPMENT
It is acampaign adopted by United Nations.The art of living has been supporting the stand up and Take Action Campaign since 2007.We the students & Staff of KVIOC Noonmati took part in the "Spped Up the MDG Campaign 2009" on 16th October 2009 by taking Pledge,Providing "Free Lunch" to poor and by donating money.And we promise that we will work together for eradicating poverty by 2015.

MEDICAL COUNSELLING AND CHECK-UP
As a regular feature of the vidyalaya the medical counselling of the students done by doctors from IOCL,Guwahari Refinery.Then the students undergone medical check-up by the panel of doctors.

SURPRISE INSPECTION
On 14th October 2009 Assistant Commissioner of KVS Guwahati region Mr. A.K. Vajpayee accompanied by Education Office Mr. J. Das visited the vidyalaya.They have given much useful sugestion for the coming days.

PARENT TEACHERS MEETING
The Parent Teachers Meeting is a regualr feature of the vidyalaya.It was held on 12.10.2009 in the vidyalaya premises for the students of class X,XII.There was apleasant interaction between the parents and teachers on the steps to be taken for the improvement and betterment of the students' performance.

SCHOOL LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION
As a regular feature of the Vidyalaya activity, K.V.(IOC) organised the School Level Social Science Exhibition 2009-10 on 14th September 2009 in the school premises. The Exhibition was a grand sucess as the participants are heavely participated in making models and some of them were selected for Cluster Level held at KV,IIT,Guwahati.

TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION 2009
The School Level Teacher's Day was celebrated in the school premises. The day starts with the monrning assembly done by Teachers of the vidyalaya and then cultural events by students.

REGIONAL TAE-KWAN-DO,JUDO MEET 2009
The Regional Level Tae-Kwan-Do and Juso Meet 2009 was organised in this vidyalaya from 31st August to 2nd September 2009.Different 14 vidyalayas of Guwahati region with their 138 participants have participated in various games.Hounarable chief guest of the occasion was Shri G. Bhanumurthy, Executive Director, IOCL, Guwahati Refinery.Chief guest was welcomed by the Principal Mrs. O.S. Minz, KV IOC, Noonmati by presenting Bouquet and Gamocha. In the Valedictory ceremony Mrs. Ratna G. Bhanumurthy, wife of Executive Director, IOCL, Guwahati was the chief guest .The chief guest honous the award winners with certificates.

CLUSTER LEVEL SOCIAL SCIENCE EXHIBITION
The Cluster Level Social Science was organised at KV,Narengi,Guwahati where many of the participants of Kendriya Vidyalaya from the Narengi cluster were there on 21st and 22nd August 2009.In Quiz KV,IOC,Noonmati stood second place and two models namely "Madhubani Paintings" and "Lauren Museum of France" of KV,IOC,Noonmati selected for the 1st position in the model exhibition under two category whose topic was "Bihar State " and "France" and got prizes.

PRINCIPALS' CONFERENCE 2009
This year KVIOC was got the priviledge of organising the three days Principals' Conference 2009 from 22 July to 24 July 2009. This was inagurated by Sh. G. Bhanumurthy, Executive Director of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd,Guwahati Refinery and chaired by Sh. A. Vajpayee, Assistant Commissioner,KVS, Guwahati region.The 41 principals of KVS Guwahati region were participated and the problems their solutions and the target for the comming session were discussed.

Annual Day Celebration-2009 : ANNUAL DAY
Annual Day was celebrated on 30th April 2009. Hounarable chief guest of the occasion was Shri A.C. Mishra, DGM(T), IOCL, Guwahati Refinery ,Chief guest was welcomed by the Principal Mrs. O.S. Minz, KV IOC, Noonmati by presenting Bouquet and Gamocha. Function started by the Principal. She emphasized academic excellant result of the year.On this occassion very intresting and exciting cultural program are done by the students participants.

SURPRISE INSPECTION
On 28th April 2009 the school was inspected surprisingly by Mr. R.T. Borkar. ,Hon. Education Officer of KVS,R.O.,Guwahati.He has given much usefull sugestion for the coming days.

Declaration of Annual Academic Results 2009 : The annual academic results 2009 has been declared on 28th March 2009 after the morning assembly. Mrs. S. Das, Exam-Incharge announced the overall results and the class wise pass percentage.After that Mrs. O.S. Minz, Principal blessed the students for their good performance and she has also encouraged them to secure 100% results in the new session.
