Parent Teachers Meeting : On 31st July 2010,the parent teachers meeting was held in the vidyalaya.The parents of Board classes were invited. In that meeting Principal Mrs O.S. Minz gave stress on the role of the parents in bringing about regular attendance of the students in the vidyalaya. Parents were requested to cooperate with the vidyalaya authority to take care of the emotional and psychological health of their wards which would automatically improve their academic performance.

Educational Tour To Visit "Commonwealth Express" : The Commonwealth Express exhibition train, which arrives in the city on July 19, will promote the Commonwealth Games. It was stationed at the Kamakhya railway station.Students of Class X-A,X-B,XI(Science),XII(Science) and XII(Commerce) were taken to visit the train on 20th July along with their respective class teachers. Of the 11 coaches, five are dedicated to sports, and the remaining six carry exhibits about the latest strides in information technology. The sports coaches showcase the history of Commonwealth games along with details of the venues where the various events will be held and the countries that will participate in the games. The coaches displaying the IT strides narrate stories of technological developments which was very usefull to the students.

Surprise Inspection : On 6th July 2010,Hon'ble education officer of Shri. Joydeep Das,Guwahati Region has visited the vidyalaya and observe various classes and activities of the vidyalaya. At the end he met with all the secondary teachers and discussed the progress of CCE in the vidyalaya.He gave many useful sugessions on academic activities to improve.

One Day Workshop On CCE for Social Science:
One day CCE worshop for P.G.T. economics, history, geography and T.G.T. soocial sciencewas organised at K.V.I.O.C. Noonmati on 26.4.2010. The Program started at 10:00am with self introduction of teachers. At the very outset the participants were formed into groups. Shri Pankaj Das, Principal Modern English School,Guwahati gave a very enlightning speech on application of CCE in Humanities.

Mrs. O.S. Minz ,Principal KVIOC laid out the aims and objectives of CCE.This was followed by a very lively and intersting group work. Participants had an open discussion and put forward their suggestions.Shri B.P. Choudhury PGT(Economics) of KVIOC took up the topic of Formative and Summative Assement and briefed the participants about it.The programme came to a close at 5.30 P.M.

Annual Day-2010 & Silver Jubilee Celebration:
Annual Day and Silver Jubilee was celebrated on 17th and 18th April 2010. On 17th Honourable chief guest of the occasion was Smt. Ratna G. Bhanumurthy, President Chetna Club,IOCL,Guwahati Refinery,who was welcomed by the Principal Mrs. O. S. Minz, KV IOC, Noonmati by presenting Bouquet and Gamocha. Function started at 4pm.In her welcome speech Principal Mrs. O.S. Minz emphasized on the academic excellence of the year. On this occasion very intresting and exciting inter school dance competition and cultural program were performed by the students participants. The prizes were distributed to the various winners by the chief guest and other distinguished guests of the occasion.

On 18th April 2010 the Chief Guest of the evening was His Excellency Hon'ble Shri. J.B. Patnaik, Governor, Assam. He was welcomed by the Principal Mrs. O.S. Minz, KV IOC, Noonmati by presenting Bouquet and Gamocha.Shri N.N. Banerjee, CGM,BSNL, Guwahati, Shri A. Tapardar, GM, OIL, Guwahati,Dr. Jaideep Das, EO,KVS(GR), Shri. R.T. Borkar, EO, KVS(GR), Shri. A.C. Shekhar, SHRM-I, IOCL,(GR), Shri.C. Rajendran, DGM,BSNL,Guwahati, Shri. P. Basumatary,Member VMC,IOCL,(GR) were among the other dignitaries along with hundreds of alumni who attended the function. The CBSE toppers of the vidyalaya were awarded trofies by The Governor. Exciting cultural programme from the vidyalaya and alumni was held.

Declaration of Annual Academic Results 2010 : The annual academic results 2009 has been declared on 29th March 2010 after the morning assembly. Mrs. S. Das, Exam-Incharge announced the overall results and the class wise pass percentage.After that Mrs. O.S. Minz, Principal blessed the students for their good performance and she has also encouraged them to secure 100% results in the new session.
